Zedan Polo team was launched in 2010 by Amr Zedan, Chairman and President of Zedan Group and represents the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the professional polo circuit.

Founder
Patron Amr F. Zedan
Amr F. Zedan is Chairman of The Zedan Group, a family-owned, energy -focused group of companies, based in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Amr was born in Los Angeles, California and raised and educated in both the United States and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has served as Chairman of the Zedan Group since 2000. During his leadership, he has transformed the enterprise from a small Saudi Arabia-based engineering consultancy into a preeminent international consortium of companies spanning energy, infrastructure, real estate, aviation, digital transformation and more.
Outside of his work with Zedan Group, Amr is a successful international investor and venture capitalist and philanthropist.
In July of 2018, Amr was appointed as Chairman of the Saudi Polo Federation, a governmental body formed to introduce, develop, promote and regulate the sport of Polo in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In 2020, Amr was also appointed as a member of the Board of Directors for the newly established Saudi Equestrian Authority.
An avid horse and sports lover, Amr is also the founder of Zedan Racing Stables Inc., a thoroughbred racing venture headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky. Zedan Racing has competed and won on the world’s largest stages, including the Kentucky Derby, Dubai World Cup and the Breeders’ Cup.
